Anyway! I also may have told someone about you so if you get strange questions of a very rude man then I'm really very sorry.
voice;
Still, the Doctor? What kind of a name is that... (and why is it vaguely familiar).]
Um. Hello, I suppose. [Awkward pause...] I don't think I've received strange questions from anybody rude so far so don't worry about that.
[Anyway.]
But it would be my pleasure to discuss my findings with you. [He would smile here if it was video but since it isn't he'll do his best to sound friendly.] Is there any time and day you wish to specify our meeting?
voice;
[There's a faint noise of things being fumbled about. He's looking for his diary. And by diary, we mean a scrap of paper he jotted down days Lestrade had plans he couldn't ruin. Or he had things to do with the locals.]
Erm any time next week bar Saturday or this week bar Tuesday and Thursday.
[There's a slight pause.]
Quick question, what do you know of the multiverse theory?
voice;
It is a concept I am familiar with, but up until coming to this world I wasn't certain if it could be real. [A soft hum.] It is interesting to explore, though, now that I know it is.
[Okay yeah he means he's quietly geeking over it when he can.]
This Friday should be amendable to me. Is the evening alright for you? Perhaps around eight?
voice;
And if anything confuses you about it, I can help you with that. It's one of my personal favourite topicss.
[He even has a fully casted puppet show bar a mauled Sherlock puppet.]
Eight is fine. I'll make a note of it. Do you know where I live? ... Of course you don't, we've just met. Would you like a map?
voice;
A map would be useful, but an address will do just as well. [More quiet amusement.] Either is fine.
voice;
Well I could just give an address but the map has drawings on it. Lake monsters, dragons -- I recently added a flying pony!
voice;
Well, I know someone who would like to see that. [Another chuckle, and he's agreeing.] Sure, send me the map.
voice;
I'll see you Friday then. Oh! Could you do me a massive favour and pick up some bananas and maybe a big ol' melon? Love a good melon, I do. I'll pay you back instantly but we will need snacks. Science is hungry work.
voice;
Bananas and a melon, got it. [Amused sound.] I do agree that science is pretty hungry work.
[Since he does it all the time with Tony.]
voice;
[And he just doesn't want Eleven to be happy!]
I'll expect you on Friday! It'll be fantastic. I'll leave the door open, my room's the one with the paper sign on it. Says 'Doctor's room'. As it is in fact the room that I live in. And I'm the Doctor. [Just in case you didn't get it.]
voice;
[Who is this Gregory anyway... roommate? Friend? Companion?]
I got it, Doctor. [See, he's already getting it down!] I'll be sure to follow the map and find your place. If I get lost then I'll call you.
voice;
[But everyone else did.]
Great. See you then. Friday soon, door open, Doctor room. See you then!
voice;
Alright, I'll see you then.
