You'll also need to be around for your own check-ups and other appointments. If that's still something you're thinking about, I mean. But I think it might be for the best if we pushed them back a bit, to wait until you're feeling a little bet better.

I should be better, with time. Nowhere near 100% yet, but I suppose its not a pleasant experience when your body flushes out nanomachines from the inside. [Since he, you know, kind of forced the change to happen. That's never nice.]

But thank you, regardless. Hopefully I should be better once June comes around.

Take as long as you need. I don't want you to push yourself and wind up feeling worse than you did before.

[Spoiler: Bruce feels a lot worse already because his self-esteem is taking a beating from this but nobody has to know that. He'll work with this... somehow. There's not much he can do otherwise.]

[He's sorry, Bruce, really. He feels bad enough that he has to tell him this when he's already not feeling the greatest, he's guessing, so knowing that his self-esteem is taking a hit would just make it worse.]

[Don't worry, Bruce understands perfectly why you need to do this... which is why he feels so bad over it. His nightmares and periods of delirousness isn't helping with that either.]

You're simply doing what is best, and I can't fault you for that. [Always the nice guy, even though technically this time it wasn't his fault...] But I'll keep your offer in mind.
